On February 1st, Dr. Sunshine Autumn Van Bael was appointed a Visiting Researcher at the Graduate School of Agriculture and met with Dean Nawata for a contract signing meeting.
Dr. Van Bael is an Associate professor at Tulane University in the United States and will be conducting a joint research titled “Leaf traits and fungal endophytes in a tropical forest plant community” with Prof. Kaoru Kitajima in Lab. of Tropical Forest Resources and Environments, Division of Forest and Biomaterials Science. She will be staying at the Graduate School of Agriculture from February 1st to April 30th, 2019.
